Fake Show Review
I got in early and still ended up three rows back because everybody in this city knew this room was about to ignite. Rustline Depot is all steel beams and concrete echo, so when Furnace Crown hit the opening chord, the whole floor moved like one body.
The first breakdown landed and the pit opened instantly. No hesitation, no awkward dead circles, just clean chaos. People were crashing hard but watching each other at the same time, which is exactly what you want in a heavy room.
The snare cracked like rebar snapping and the low end felt like standing too close to an engine block.
Mid-set, they dropped into their slowest track and made it hit heavier than anything fast. The vocalist stepped off stage, leaned into the crowd, and half the room was shouting the chorus right in his face. It was filthy, loud, and perfect.
Final verdict from one exhausted metalhead: if Furnace Crown is on a bill at Rustline Depot, you do not stand in the back. You get in the lane, protect your ribs, and enjoy every second.
